What's the difference?
A few years back, the only choice to make was between computers and laptops. In today's world of fast-growing technology, we have so many devices like Netbook, Notebook, Ultrabook, Laptop, and Palmtop. The steady miniaturisation of technology and the necessity for manufacturers to distinguish their products have now us a smorgasbord of sizes, each with their title.

1.NETBOOK
A Netbook is a small form of computer which is designed mainly for using the internet and email. It is a small, low powered computer that has less processing power than a laptop. Netbooks are also known by various other names like subnotebooks, cloud book, mini notebook, and ultra-mobile pc. Along with net surfing, it also provides features of word processing, running a web browser, and connecting wirelessly to the internet.

Netbook has a small display, ranging from 7 to 10 inches.
Netbooks have a built-in USB port, wifi, and slots for flash memory cards.
Netbooks run on Windows XP and Linux.
One of the first notebook and the most well-known brand name is the ASUS Eee PC.
Netbook has 1 or 2 GB RAM and weighs around 3 pounds.
Netbooks have parental control and antivirus protection.
Mainly netbooks are used for educational purposes only.

2.ULTRABOOK

An ultrabook is a mini notebook computer designed to provide identical or outstanding computing functionality as that of a standard laptop but with less size, weight, and extended battery life. Ultrabook bridges the gap between notebook and tablet computers. It resembles a notebook computer but provides the portability of a tablet pc. Ultrabooks include an elegant layout and are often mistaken as netbooks, which has low compute abilities and commonly lacks high-end features as in ultrabooks

3.NOTEBOOK
A Notebook is a personal computer which is very lightweight. A notebook can weigh up to a maximum of 6 pounds. Notebooks are also very convenient, and they can be carried anywhere as they easily fit in a briefcase, which makes them portable. A notebook varies from a personal computer based on the display.
Modern notebooks are nearly equivalent to personal computers. They have the same disk drives, memory capacity, and CPUs. The only thing is a notebook with the same features as a personal computer will cost more.

Notebooks display screens are limited to VGA resolution.
Notebooks take time for refreshing.
They have active-matrix screens which produce very sharp images.

4.LAPTOP
A Laptop is a compact personal computer with a thin LCD or LED screen and has an alphanumeric keyboard on the inside of the lower lid. Laptops are small enough to be carried around easily. Laptops are adequate for educational and business objectives. One can carry their laptops while traveling or going to school and offices. A laptop has a thin display screen that is attached and can be folded flat for transport.
Features of the laptop :
A laptop derives its name from is easy to use by resting on a person's lap while sitting without the need for a desk or a table.
Laptops weigh at least 3 pounds less than computers.
A laptop can also connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth to access the internet over the phone's network.
Most laptops these days come with high screen resolutions.
Each one of them has the latest processors Intel 7th generation core.
Earlier laptops used to have 4GB RAM, now there are laptops with 8GB RAM.
They have a hard disk that has 500+ GB.
